Update - The Legacy of the Mystery Caller

We collected a handful of photos of from some of his old and recent litters.  Also he is the Grandfather to some too, which we have also included here in this web album.  It was originally intended as a bit of a case study.

However, it also shows you what a great kittens and how they matured.  If you compare these to the pictures of Ollie himself as a tiny baby within this album, you'll see the traits continue through the generations.  Ollie of course now needs to retire or move to another program.  We were looking for (this wonderful boy) a home and/or a stud placement.

Update - Stud boy Ollie, still like his Toys

You've seen countless pictures of kittens enjoying a good old game of catch.  But all our adults still like to play too, yes even Our Stud boys. Doesn't matter how big and butch they look or how old they are.... there's always interest in cuddles and toys as well as the ladies.

Ollie hasn't had much of a mention recently, and I thought I'd post some of him having some fun. But it also fits the purpose of showing you how muscular and chunky this boy has become now he is 2.5 years old. Theres still some maturing to do, but I think you'll agree, Ollie is taking on a bit of a fierce look as his gotten older...

There's nothing fierce in his nature at all. If anything his a total scaredy cat, couldn't meet a more quieter, shy boy... Once his overcome his initial fear of someone new, he'll be following you around, playing games and sitting on your lap for some fussing... as long as you don't mind him dribbling all over you!

Ollie was Our first boy we introduced into Our Program, he sired Big Mac Supersize Me, and Shanty who are staying here in Our breed program.  Placed kittens include Rookpool (now Oscar) and Driftwood (aka Drifter) and you can read about them in our Owners Updates.

Now back to this big beautiful chunky boy....hope you like the pictures as much as the kittens. Admittedly Ollie has lost his cuteness, but I think he is still stunning.

Big Mac grows & grows....

Look at the size of this boy, this was taken last week... he's even bigger now.   For a 2 week old kitten he is just huge. Will Big Mac Supersize Me keep this rate of growth going??

We might have Kitten Kong on our hands... Don't worry Big Mac, I have no intention of changing your name to Twinkle.  Some of you 30 somethings and over, might know what I'm going on about.  For those of you that think I've gone mad, click the link to be in the know!
He is also taking on that more cat like look about him now, dont you think?

Sea Shanty finally opens her eyes!!

Big Mac in another photo shoot @ 2 weeks

Starlet Update, The Boy - Driftwood (AKA Drifter)

The third baby to be born was Driftwood, another boy. He has by far the biggest spots of them all.  His colour is more subtle than his other brothers, it reminded me if Driftwood bleached by the Sun... I think he will turn out to be a handsome chap.  Drifter is the easiest to take pictures of, very laid back and easy to handle. His eyes are just beginning to open a tiny crack, but they are all openning in the order in which they were born in, so this is not surprising. Our girl Sea Shanty still has hers shut being the last born.

Starlet Update, The Boy - Broadside

We had to call this chap Broadside, as he is er...Broad!  Everything about him is chunky, but he is the quietest and most gentle out of the litter. We wonder if he'll catch up to Supersize Me! It's a lot to ask for but if anyone could match it I think it has to be this guy.  He has as short bobtail which is tucked under a bit here so you cant really see it. Once again, a fantastic colour and buckshot spots all over. He has a nice strong brow already and a good change in direction on the head and muzzle. The Muzzle is a shorter length and very wide. I'll do better next time on the facial shots, as he wanted to go back to mum after the second photo. One eyes now open, the second has just started. Broadside was the Second Baby to be born in this litter.

Starlet Update, The Boy - Rock Pool (AKA Rocky)

Rock Pool was first born, and the first to open his eyes. He is first to go exploring, first to eat, and basically very forward.  He has great markings, very spotty and a fantastic colour.  The Easiest way to get pictures is to balance them on my leg, so theyre not too far from Mum. Otherwise it causes them to start calling and Star wants to hide them away.

Starlet Update, The Girl - Sea Shanty

I think we have 3 Boys and 1 Girl in the Starlet group. We already chose 4 coastal/nautical theme names and these are Rock Pool, Broadside, Driftwood and Sea Shanty.  From these this rather large girl from hereon will be known as Sea Shanty.
Both her, and her half brother Supersize me share identical tails.  She has the best tail ever, very characteristic of her dad but a tad shorter, and ideal for showing.  We will be keeping an eye on how she develops and hope she'll be strong enough to meet show standard.  So far she shows promise with a well defined muzzle, good straight nose showing no signs of pinching. Her frame and general build overall is chunky which is what we want to see.
Anyway, heres a few sneaky shots I took this morning of TotallyCoastal Sea Shanty.

Update on Big Mac, Supersize me!

I had it in mind that I would name my very first kitten Totallycoastal Driftwood (AKA Drifter).  But this chap came along and because he is so big... he has to be named Big Mac Supersize me! Shenona's first born kitten and was the one and only, and absolutely massize at 6.8oz. At 1 week he is weighing 8oz (that's half a pound). Anyway I wanted to share the latest photos for you all enjoy.
Snuggling with my mummy..

Look Mum I'm Sitting up!

We Absolutely love this kittens colour, markings and tail!

The Starlets

The first glimpse of Starlights babies, the 4 Starlets were born on Thursday 18th February.

Some more of Our Ollie

Ollie Showing off, look at his red tones, copper spotting and a nice frosted finish to he coat caused by that heavy ticking.
It sounds a bit like a cake of some description... well I suppose he is scrummy too!
