Historic Reference Photo - Sweetie (Totallycoastal StickOfRock)

Interupting Breakfast to snap a couple of photos of Sweetie.  Strong profile and sugar sweet nature.. this Lynx-tipped girl has a thick and plush shaggy short coat, which she adopted from her daddy Big Mac.  Sweetie produces some lovely kittens and we are so pleased to have kept her, she has since now retired in 2019.  We have kept an offspring from her, and another son Cupid (Totallycoastal StormInATeacup) was sent to Foresthunters Pixiebobs program in USA.

The amazing son of Vantage Point, Leon produced some super kittens for us, of which we are  already keeping TOTALLYCOASTAL MYTHSNLEGENDS (aka LEGEND) as a future queen.  I am sure that this will not be the last kitten we keep within our breeding program from Leon, but as we already have 1 he qualifies for a spot in our (ANCESTORS) Hall of Fame.

This nice boy kitten is going to a show breeding home.  Nicky was born in June 2013, he is filling out lovely and has quite a character.  Very loving, phased by nothing (bomb-proof), and to top it all he has strong type.  Son of Rider and Linsey this is no big surprise, both parents are easy going and typey.  We are looking forward to seeing how he fares in the show ring, and to the kittens he has with his lovely queens.

Historic Reference Photo - In The Navy (aka Davy)

So you've seen this boys sister.. a short haired version of Spud, with her sires coat and paws.  Can we top that I wonder?  Well here's Davy (Totallycoastal In The Navy). 

This boy has the same coat, a more wilder face, the large frame, straight feet and a show length tail too.  Again a great fun, playful purrsonality.. more active then his sister.. but very loving and gentle natured kitten.  I think he would be showable (Knowing how these lines have developed for me...) if anyone wished to consider taking this boy out on the circuit.  This does mean that he will need show exposure as a kitten regularly enough to keep him chilled and enjoying the experience, rather than it being an ordeal for him. 

As you can see a bit of a dilemma overall... with these two kittens.  I have other boys kittens I am considering keeping, so I may be forced to pass up on him.  If I cannot keep him (and retain Martha), then I would like to place him in a breeding program.  Here featured as a kitten. 

Update - Madame Celia Photos

We havent had any pictures of Celia in an age.  She is so hard to take photos of, because she simply just wants you to pamper and bestow her with words all the time, from the comfort of your shoulder with her head nestled into the crook of you neck, or from your lap.  Neither of these locations are practical for photoshoots, and totally the wrong side of the lens. 

The only means I had of getting her the right side of the camera was to give her a pouch of kitten food.. which she rips open herself, stands on it so that it squirts out.. and promptly gulps it quicker than you can blink.  Again not ideal, as this leaves a very small window of opportunity to take any decent picture... but it's the only way. 

She gave us a 3rd Gen keeper kitten in August last year sired by Totallycoastal Captain Kidd, to continue forging a new bloodline in the UK.  So we are looking to retire Celia after her good job, and find her a loving pet home.  If you are interested in offering this delightful and cheeky girl a home, please contact us.  Celia would best suit a home with older children or no children.

Owners Update - Facebook For Joe!

Our stud muffin Joe, went to embark on wooing some ladies in Toulouse, France.  First he won over Gege, and his next assignment, Baby!  It wasn't very long before he had acheived his mission, and before long he was mixing with the locals. 

Geraldine has given me the thumbs up to post Joes Facebook album here.  So now there is a good selection of pictures available, I have selected my favourites.  If you would like to see more of these, then I'm sure you can track the facebook album down quite simply, by looking for Totallycoastal Jolly Roger via Geraldine Pardo.

Now you may be wondering who Baby is, well she is an absolutely amazing Pixiebob from USA and is currently ranking very highly (an understatement) in the show results...  We are expecting a fantastic litter from this pairing in the future.  Myself, Gege, and the breeder of Baby all very excited and can't wait.

In the meantime, before Joe left for foreign shores he left us a little bit of him here at Totallycoastal.  Of course this was the lovely litter from Alessi, which we recently posted photos.

Update - A New Vantage Point

The time has come to make an announcement which is now official. Our homebred boy Handale Vantage Point is going back to his roots.

Yep, Van The Man will be embarking on a stud career in USA!!

I am very proud that our boy will be the sire of USA pixiebob litters and hopefully some gorgeous show-able babies.

Van is a chunky monkey who loves fuss, toys and food... I'm sure he'll soon settle into a routine stateside and we hope later in the year to see the patter of tiny feet.

Once again our boys landed himself a superb blonde model for partner. Van being tall dark and handsome of course was bound to attract such a lady :oP.

Joe as an Adult

Joe is a week short of his first birthday, and it's time for another photo update.  Totallycoastal Jolly Roger is now a fully fledged stud boy, looking for a placement in a program.   We have kept this line already, so Joe has to look for pastures new to sow his oats.  We are flexible on placement terms :- A straight purchase as a breeder with or without kitten back arrangement or a TICA Official lease for 2 years.

As you can see Joe has a lot of muzzle on that face of his, we couldn't get much more puffy whisker pads, which he takes from his mum Nebraska.  His head has filled out a lot and his face is taking on a more mature look.   It won't be long before every trace of cuteness in that face is replaced with full on predatory stares as that brow develops more and more.... Of course that is just a front, as with all Pixiebobs their looks are wild, but their nature is mild...and this lad is such a softie.   

A very big baby, who has equalled his dad in size now, has identical coat pattern and colour.  If it wasnt for the difference in tail length I'd have great difficulty tell who is who from behind!  He adores toys and fuss and being a real mummies boy.  He is a very loving, but does not tolerate ANY other males.  Which means he'll require his own quarters or be the ONLY boy in the house.  Joe doesn't spray at all and current lives in.
