We have no other information on this early European breeder beyond their old email address. Unsure if their prefix was norsksuvenir or not. If anyone can shed some light on this cattery in the Netherlands owned by Linda Hilberink, please get in touch.

All litters were signed off by Donna of Alsoomse and the content of LegendFalls initially was Finegold lines supplied from Gill Moon of Threadgold (which was a program of Finegold line cats) when she was closing down, but Sharon then took in Donna’s Program overseen by Donna. Therefore, any pedigree names starting with Alsoomse LegendFalls were breeding done by Sharon. But LegendFalls was not registered in their own right and were a sub-cattery of Alsoomse, hence always the name begins as such. This Alsoomse program at Sharon’s home lasted approx 7-8yrs before selling some breeding cats onto Europe and and others placed in pet homes. This was a U.K. based program.
Jassmar was a Uk based cattery. Its foundation lines were from Finegold cats. They started Willowfaery Cattery (believed to be a relative or friend) but neither Jassmar nor Willowfaery lasted long. This was because Jassmar Concerto escaped and was hit by a car. Which meant they lost their shared stud cat, and also were so devastated by the loss they chose not to continue. Willowfaery was run by Jackie, but I have no record of the owner of Jassmar. Any information on the owner,or any other interesting information would be much appreciated.

UK based Pixiebobs breeder closed by the early 2010s. They started around 2009, so it was short lived breeding program. They had 2 Ansonroad females and an Imported O3T male from USA (still scanning archives to locate details of that line).
Sagabob was registered with TICA and feature in the 2012 list of cattery names (May have appeared in earlier releases but cannot gain access to this information). They showed a cat in Finland in 2012, and this was a Pixiebobs under its own prefix, therefore actively breeding (even if it was fleeting). They have been included for completeness. Artic Whisper & Artic Pearl littermates were kept as future breeders but were not used.

Legendpixies was based in Norway. They were showing & actively breeding from around 2009 onwards. Below shows at least 2 of their breeding Pixiebobs and a listed litter in 2011. This is an archive screenprint featuring Alsoomse Short Rainbow that gained their TGC from the TICA Norticat Show in 2009 on 21-22 November.

“My name is Linda. I am 43 years old. In December 2004 I bought my first Pixie-bob. Her name is Vi tess from Cattery Far West in France. I named her Money. It is not the first Pixie-bob in Holland, but when I started my project in 2004, I was the only breeder in Holland.Unfortunately Money died recently on December, 2 2005.
I still miss her a lot and I always will. But despites this enormous loss, she still gave me three beautiful kittens. I didn’t want to give up my project which I just started, so I decided to import two new Pixie-bobs.
I read about this fantastic breed in the new cat encyclopaedia and I also read a nice article in a Dutch cat magazine called Majesteit. What interested me the most was that the Pixie-bob has a character of a loyal dog. Besides that I am very fond of the wild look (the look of a bobcat) and yet their calm and sweet character.On the 6th of April 2005 my male Pixie-bob Major No 1 finally arrived in Holland. He came all the way from Texas (USA). And on the 3rd of February 2006, my two new pixie-bobs arrived in Holland too. They are called Brutus and Squirrel.”

This cattery bred various different cat breeds Pixiebobs, Maine coons, Somalis and more. Based in Aquitaine, France. They ceased breeding PIXIEBOBS in 2020.
