Owner Update - On the 12th Day of Christmas.... A Pixiebob in a Christmas tree !

Well this is our first seasonal Owners Update picture.  No surprises its Pixie (formerly Summer Holiday) up the Christmas Tree, with her impish streak!  But I had to laugh at this as she looks quite comfortable in there.  Maureen says:-

What do you think of Miss Pixie in a Christmas Tree J She decided to climb it in the middle of a dinner party… much entertainment. This is her favourite thing – she fights it / climbs it / hides under it and basically thinks we have given her a Christmas Tree as a toy!

She is such a funny kitty… such a bossy boots now with the other two cats and so fab with the children. Her and Moggy have great fun with playing hide and seek at least once or twice a day now and given his age 11 that is good going for moggy moo!

Maureen goes on to say!

She's such a missy! Love her so much Kelly – thank you so much again for both her and Drifter this year – certainly completed our little family with their winning personalities. M xx
But, I've received lots of Owner updates this week.  I heard from Astrid and her husband to say that Clarence (now Hepburn) had settled in beautifully and is getting on great with their Westie dog, the siamese hasn't come round just yet, but Hepburn is working on him.  I'm expecting some lovely photos in the post of his boy.

I also heard from Andrea, who gave Paddy Paws and lovely home. She already had a longhair straight-footed pixiebob, and decided that Paddy's Short hair Quad Poly foot appearance and laid back personality were an irrasistable combination. Despite the horrendous Snow and Extreme weather warnings she travelled on the train (Totally mad) from Manchester, to collect him and got back home at 1am... Within a few days Paddy and Neo, were getting on great as if they had always been together and I have some photos to show you of these two also!
Finally, another update from Beth and Neil to say that their moggy kitten Glory, has finally cut Scarlett (formerly Sunset) some slack, and they now snuggle together and groom each other. That has taken a couple of weeks, but I knew they'd sort it out eventually....Pixiebobs are very persistent in wanting to be friends and it pays off after a while.
I hope you enjoy these Owners Update photos as much as me, and shows that Pixiebobs integrate into families very quickly regardless of if theirs existing dogs, cats and kids ;oP

Little Pixie pretending to be a decoration!
Paddy looking gorgeous and happy with the boys.

Neo sitting, and Paddy lounging on the dresser.

The two boys together (Paddy is on the Left), only a few days after he arrived!
Even mature cats can adjust quickly.

Update - Drifter the Lifeguard/Athlete

Drifter tries to save Alana from the shower whenever he goes into the bathroom with her – he cries so much and jumps at the handle and sits in pool of water meowing at her until she lets him in the shower cubicle and then he is ok – wet but happy that she is safe!

He also likes to race us from Attic to the ground floor which involves him deliberately skidding across the floor in the hallway.

Update - Totallycoastal Driftwood (AKA Drifter) Settled in!

The 2 boys chillin' in their crib! What a lovely picture of Driftwood (AKA Drifter) courtesy of Maureen. Look how much he has grown now for a 4.5 month old kitten.... as long as Maureen's 4 year old son! I think Drifter must be a similar size to Broadside now... who seems to have drunk some magic growth potion. You certainly look comfortable there on that leather couch. Living a life of Riley... oops sorry wrong surname. Another of Drifter watching the TV which facinates him, as you can see he has got his eyes glued to it. Also 1 of our boy playing with the blind cord... He'll work out how to open them sooner or later. Plus he keeps Maureen company while shes working during the day. The latest picture with maureens daugther Alana shows how fantastic that face is maturing. His eyes are really taking shape now. We're so please that Drifter is loving his new home.

I will of course post any updates or link you to directly to the stories and pictures posted. We have our new totallycoastal fanclub which allows owners to directly email their updates for you all to see. Even after our cats and kittens leave us, we love to hear about them... That way they never really leave! Thanks to Maureen, Alana and the rest of the family for having our boy! I know you'll adore him.

Didn't get many of Rockpool or Broadside as they were eating most of the time...
But here's Rockpool Grabbing Big Mac in a Bear hug.
The 2 boys eatting... Rockpool & Broadside
We love her Pattern and Bobtail....and she has the most adorable disposition.

Kittens Having Fun

Oh to be a kitten, they have nothing but fun!  Big Mac and the Starlets now play all day together. When they're not playing they're Sleeping or Eating.  Mums, Shenona aand Starlight are sharing babies... and they never have the same combination twice and meal times. Big Mac started this, and the others thought it was a great idea.  Hope you enjoy the latest snaps of them all.

Starlet Update, The Boy - Driftwood (AKA Drifter)

The third baby to be born was Driftwood, another boy. He has by far the biggest spots of them all.  His colour is more subtle than his other brothers, it reminded me if Driftwood bleached by the Sun... I think he will turn out to be a handsome chap.  Drifter is the easiest to take pictures of, very laid back and easy to handle. His eyes are just beginning to open a tiny crack, but they are all openning in the order in which they were born in, so this is not surprising. Our girl Sea Shanty still has hers shut being the last born.
