Owners Update - Sunset Snoozing

It was really nice to hear from Beth and Neil, with an update of Scarlet, formerly (Totallycoastal Summer) Sunset.  As you can see she has developed into another fine example of the breed.  But what's more important, is how she is projecting total bliss and contentment.

We simply love to receive pictures of our placed kitties, and their stories of antics and exploits, so we always know how they are getting on.  Summer Sunset was from 2010 summer litter, from Morgana x Ed....and I can definately see her daddy in her face and this pose :oP.

Thank-You for this photo Beth.

Owners Update - Scarlet Surprize

It was a nice surprize to see an email from Beth about our (Scarlet) Sunset. Even nicer one to see a few wonderful photos of her chillin' out... And doing her over stretches still... Same ol' Sunset. When she was tiny she'd stretch out and double up as a door draft excluder... Here I'm convinced she's doing it to lay claim on her half of the bed! Enjoy.

Update - Scarlet (Sunset) in full glory

Our Summer Sunset (Now Scarlet Sunset, or just Scarlet for short) is flourishing and looking more and more beautiful by the day.  She coming up for 6 months old now, and maturing very nicely. Neil kindly sent me this picture via Facebook this weekend to show how much this girl has grown.  I was so pleased to receive it, as I am from all owners of my cats and kittens.  She sure looks as content as her sister Margot (renamed Tu-Fa) which was placed with Neil's mum who also sends us lovely updates via Neil . Anyway without further ado......heeerrreees Scarlet!

Owner Update - On the 12th Day of Christmas.... A Pixiebob in a Christmas tree !

Well this is our first seasonal Owners Update picture.  No surprises its Pixie (formerly Summer Holiday) up the Christmas Tree, with her impish streak!  But I had to laugh at this as she looks quite comfortable in there.  Maureen says:-

What do you think of Miss Pixie in a Christmas Tree J She decided to climb it in the middle of a dinner party… much entertainment. This is her favourite thing – she fights it / climbs it / hides under it and basically thinks we have given her a Christmas Tree as a toy!

She is such a funny kitty… such a bossy boots now with the other two cats and so fab with the children. Her and Moggy have great fun with playing hide and seek at least once or twice a day now and given his age 11 that is good going for moggy moo!

Maureen goes on to say!

She's such a missy! Love her so much Kelly – thank you so much again for both her and Drifter this year – certainly completed our little family with their winning personalities. M xx
But, I've received lots of Owner updates this week.  I heard from Astrid and her husband to say that Clarence (now Hepburn) had settled in beautifully and is getting on great with their Westie dog, the siamese hasn't come round just yet, but Hepburn is working on him.  I'm expecting some lovely photos in the post of his boy.

I also heard from Andrea, who gave Paddy Paws and lovely home. She already had a longhair straight-footed pixiebob, and decided that Paddy's Short hair Quad Poly foot appearance and laid back personality were an irrasistable combination. Despite the horrendous Snow and Extreme weather warnings she travelled on the train (Totally mad) from Manchester, to collect him and got back home at 1am... Within a few days Paddy and Neo, were getting on great as if they had always been together and I have some photos to show you of these two also!
Finally, another update from Beth and Neil to say that their moggy kitten Glory, has finally cut Scarlett (formerly Sunset) some slack, and they now snuggle together and groom each other. That has taken a couple of weeks, but I knew they'd sort it out eventually....Pixiebobs are very persistent in wanting to be friends and it pays off after a while.
I hope you enjoy these Owners Update photos as much as me, and shows that Pixiebobs integrate into families very quickly regardless of if theirs existing dogs, cats and kids ;oP

Owner Update - Photoshoot Scarlet (formerly Sunset)

I'm already receiving some wonderful pictures from Neil and Beth of our Sunset, who has now been given the name Scarlet.  She is attempting so hard to get on with Glory the kitten she shares a household with.. but currently Glory is still objecting. I know Scarlet will continue to try and sooner or later these 2 girls will be best mates. Either way Scarlet is making herself quite at home and here's a few lovely photos taken of her.  More photos updates from this girl are due soon... But as you can see she has found some laps to catnap on and getting plenty of fuss...quite understandable that Glory is a little put out sharing all this loving. I know Scarlet will pour love to Glory too, when she allows.

Update - Sunset the last remaining Bobtail girl!

We have only 1 bobtail pixiebob left, from this season breeding.  Summer Sunset is naughty but nice... and will have any new family in constant laughter. The comedian of the bunch... Sunset will definately bring colour into people life.  She loves to play is very affectionate and always attempts the most ridiculous things. She has the cutest little bobtail ever.. which she uses quite a bit to express herself. be it holding high when shes excited,  wagging when she happy or holding it low when she thinks shes done something she shouldnt. Sunset is most puppy like in the group.  Sunset has red undertones and black spots. Her ticking makes them appear Bronze from some angles.  All in All Summer Sunset certainly has the colours of the sunset in her coat.. from burnt umbers through to golds and browns. She has a nice ticked coat and the length is shaggy short. All topped with black eye tips and a wild face.. Sunset is a hit with us.
 Stalking a waggle stick
Showing us her lovely spotting and that cute bobtail...on this occassion held high!
 Thinking about going exploring!!!
Back on the trail again! A keen eye to watching everything that goes on around her.. the most inquisitive of the bunch...
Getting ready to pounce and showing of her great spotting!
Nice level fleshy chin, good pattenering and perfect black hocks.. and that fluffy cute bobtail!

Update - Summer Sunset and Margate Sands Photoshoot

Now these elusive kittens (Margot and Sunset) haven't featured in many photos because they always run and hide. They are rather bashful and do not like to be in the limelight (unlike their brothers and sisters). It take a lot of coaxing to get them out and cooperating with a camera there. Take the camera away and theyre fine....typical!  Well heres a rare treat of these 2 girls. I cant understand why they wouldnt want to flaunt their sweet faces!

OK so first up is Margot...

Now for the most elusive of all Sunset... She is such a funny thing!

A rare treat for you all to see these 2 kittens that are available to loving pet homes! If you are interested in either or both of these girls please contact us now.

Update - Summer Sunset

We've had to wait to take some pictures of Sunset. She got her tail caught under the kitchen door at 2.5 weeks and it scalped some of the skin ;o(.  We had to see how it would heal up before we advertised her, and I can thankfully say it has now healed and the furs grown back a treat...So here's the latest of this girl. The last born in Morgana's litter of beautiful babies, and I think you'll agree she was worth the wait.

Sunset does have a very small scar on her tail and because of this she is now NON-SHOWABLE.  However it is not visable to the naked eye just looking at her.  We are therefore placing her at pet price only, rather than Show Alter quality, so whoever chooses Sunset will get a very nice pixiebob girl indeed!
As with all the babies in Morgana and Eds litter, Sunset is straight footed with nice big paws after her daddy.  This entire litter had really, really good coat patterns so which ever baby you chose you'd get the complete Pixiebob package. Sunset was the first out of the kitten box to explore, hence the reason she got her bobtail caught. She is very playful and likes to constantly run about and play hide N seek with her brother and 3 sisters.
She is the socialite out of the bunch and goes visiting the neighbours. Alessi and her babies also share the same kitten area, and Sunset will often be found with Sandy, Van, Barbie, Clarance and Celia. Because of the difference in coat colour she's easy to spot amongst those 5... she is accepted into whatever group of kittens or adults she feels like hanging out with. I think she takes after her mum here, and would make a perfect companion cat. Here she is with her sister Lily (standing). Sunset has a really nice side profile as you can see here.
Sunset also has a great set of lynx tips for a shorthair kitten. She takes after her mum here aswell. It always amazes me how long those eartips can be on shorthairs. Her mums just kept growing and growing and equal my longhair girls. I have a sneaky feeling that Sunsets will do the same, as she is so similar to her mum in every way.  Lovely coat colour, with her ticking coming through nicely. She has a good chunky build to her which is nice to see in females. I often get mixed up between her and TA... a really nice example and all in all will make a perfect top quality pet!

First installment of Morganas Babies

At just 2 weeks old I'm publishing some of Morganas babies. 3 bobtails and 2 longtails all with really good spots, all with really good colour. 4 girls and a boy in the litter, and we cant pick 1 favourite, we like all of them.
This girl opened her eyes and they were the correct shape from day one, absolutely spot on. Good little lynx tips already developing. She also has the most unusual coat colour and I adore it. She is the quiet and gentle one in this litter.

Because of her golden colour shes been named Margate Sands (AKA Margot)

Her spots are a pale grey against that golden blonde. It will be very interesting to see what this girl will look like when her ticking comes through. I have only ever seen Longhair kittens with similar tones, and Margot is a Shorthair.

Next up is another smashing coloured girl..A complete contrast to her sister she is really bright red, and so we named her Summer Holiday (aka Summer). Summer already has a home to go to... but I will be posting pictures so you can see what a fantastic range of gold and reds we got in this litter.

Summer has a good overall look. The spots are amazing on her.
I know that she will be dearly loved and cherished in her new home with Beth.

This girls eyes were also right from the start. I love that red around her face.
