Owners Update - Happy Tu-Fa (formerly Margot)

Well Our Margot (Totallycoastal Margate Sands) feels she has definately landed on her feet, with some Pixiebob Slaves to take care of her every need. As you can see from her latest Photos she is a very happy lap cat.  Margot was very leggy and Atheletically built, and I think she'll grow to a very good size for a female, just like her mum Morgana. So I can't wait to see later photo installments of her progress... watch this space!

Owner Update - On the 12th Day of Christmas.... A Pixiebob in a Christmas tree !

Well this is our first seasonal Owners Update picture.  No surprises its Pixie (formerly Summer Holiday) up the Christmas Tree, with her impish streak!  But I had to laugh at this as she looks quite comfortable in there.  Maureen says:-

What do you think of Miss Pixie in a Christmas Tree J She decided to climb it in the middle of a dinner party… much entertainment. This is her favourite thing – she fights it / climbs it / hides under it and basically thinks we have given her a Christmas Tree as a toy!

She is such a funny kitty… such a bossy boots now with the other two cats and so fab with the children. Her and Moggy have great fun with playing hide and seek at least once or twice a day now and given his age 11 that is good going for moggy moo!

Maureen goes on to say!

She's such a missy! Love her so much Kelly – thank you so much again for both her and Drifter this year – certainly completed our little family with their winning personalities. M xx

But, I've received lots of Owner updates this week.  I heard from Astrid and her husband to say that Clarence (now Hepburn) had settled in beautifully and is getting on great with their Westie dog, the siamese hasn't come round just yet, but Hepburn is working on him.  I'm expecting some lovely photos in the post of his boy.

I also heard from Andrea, who gave Paddy Paws and lovely home. She already had a longhair straight-footed pixiebob, and decided that Paddy's Short hair Quad Poly foot appearance and laid back personality were an irrasistable combination. Despite the horrendous Snow and Extreme weather warnings she travelled on the train (Totally mad) from Manchester, to collect him and got back home at 1am... Within a few days Paddy and Neo, were getting on great as if they had always been together and I have some photos to show you of these two also!

Finally, another update from Beth and Neil to say that their moggy kitten Glory, has finally cut Scarlett (formerly Sunset) some slack, and they now snuggle together and groom each other. That has taken a couple of weeks, but I knew they'd sort it out eventually....Pixiebobs are very persistent in wanting to be friends and it pays off after a while.

I hope you enjoy these Owners Update photos as much as me, and shows that Pixiebobs integrate into families very quickly regardless of if theirs existing dogs, cats and kids ;oP

Update - Last Group Photos before leaving for new homes

This is the last photoshoot of all the kittens together, before they start to leave to goto their new home. Barbie, Van, Sunset, TA, and either Margot or Clarance will be leaving for new homes over the next few weeks.  This leaves us with only 1 kitten left out of the whole group. Summer went to her new home on Friday..but we have photo's being wired through of her shortly.

Update - 2 Kittens left, Sunset off to Kingston-Upon-Thames

Sunset is now placed, and is moving to Kingston-Upon-Thames.  So just 2 babies (Clarance & Margot) left from this seasons breedings. Interested in Totallycoastal Margate Sands or Handale Clear Day, from our gorgeous queen Alessi. 

Summer Sunset is going to SW London.

Update - Margot, Looking for the Good Life!

Gorgeous blonde Margate Sands (AKA Margot) is looking for a lovely family.  This girl has really developed a lovely Pixiebob standard face. Very nice round wide head, great eyes and lovely rufus colours in her face and coat. Fantastic spotting and ticking on her coat.

She used to be shy and retiring... look at her now, Bold and Beautiful! 

Fantastic Blonde tones.. her spots are perfect evrywhere even down to her tummy spots. 

A real beauty spot, is Our Margate Sands! Despite her long tail I think she would work well in a program with an experienced Pixiebob Breeder.  Her fantastic combination on Ed lines with Finegold have produced a really lovely result.  Margot would of course make a stunning pet. She is beginning to take on that Wild Annie O look about her.

Update - Summer Sunset and Margate Sands Photoshoot

Now these elusive kittens (Margot and Sunset) haven't featured in many photos because they always run and hide. They are rather bashful and do not like to be in the limelight (unlike their brothers and sisters). It take a lot of coaxing to get them out and cooperating with a camera there. Take the camera away and theyre fine....typical!  Well heres a rare treat of these 2 girls. I cant understand why they wouldnt want to flaunt their sweet faces!

Now for the most elusive of all Sunset... She is such a funny thing!

Update - Margot (Margate Sands) and Summer (Summer Holiday)

These 2 girls always hang out together, so again rather than trying to do individual photo shoots, I combined them into 1. They are really beautiful girls and quite a contrast in appearance.  Margot is the Blonde Bombshell and Summer is the Fiery Redhead.... these explain only their exteriors, there is nothing fiery nor bomb like in their personalities whatsoever.

Margot is the quite retiring gentle type, that likes to chip in and play for a while, but always the first to ditch out and find a lap to sit on and be pampered. Summer is the active full of fun girl the last to give up and game and when even finding a lap that has to involve turning it into a fun adventure and scaling up my shoulder and on to my head to play with my hair.

Here's Margot Standing and Summer Croutching.  I call them the twins but they are certainly not identical.  Instead they compliment eack other very well, like ying and yang. 

Teddy has come out to play, and no doubt Summer will be first in! Nope, neither were interested in him... Ok lets try another tactic, here come a mouse......

She can really give a moody glare at times, at such a young age and sweet look about her, I cant help but laugh when she does it.  I managed to catch this perfectly here.... Fierce and Fiery Summer... Oh I'm so scared ;oP.  but has had no impact on the mouse, so I think you'll have to try something else! Margot couldn't care less about a mouse that doesn't move, she is far more interested in pamering and food.

Ok tactic number 3, some treats to entice Margot, while Summer has decided the best apprach is to just dive on the mouse. Come on Margot are you gonna chip in... I'll promise you the best seat in the house on my lap afterwards.

Yeay! At last, we've got Margot interested.....

I love both of these girls spotty coats they are really prominant and will look amazing when they grow older.

Summer decides she's gonna be first to sample the treats, while Margot patiently waits on the side line because now she up for playing and exploring. In this picture w can see Summers fantastically spotted coat.

Come on have you finished yet? Summer still eating and Margot moving in a bit closer to coax her friend to hurry up...There's lots of things to do! But a nice photo that captured Margots really spotty coat as well. This is where they are very much alike, absolute excellent markings.

but she loves it once she gets going.

Summers eyes are just just starting to begin to change from kitteny round, to a flatter top. In a couple of weeks time these should be completely flat at the browline and the sides should begin to lift, to form that characteristic triangular Pixiebob eye.  Margot behind just flexing her muscles and showing off that perfect spotty coat. There is very little to seperate these 2 girls on the lovable meter... 2 peas in a pod, but in such different way!
