Future Stud - Totallycoastal StormInATeacup (CUPID)

PB Boy very loving and playful lad, just wants to devote himself to his new family and smoother them with his Pixiebob Charms.  A strong wild expression, but a big softie at heart, Cupid would make and ideal addition to any family or program.

MOVING TO BECOME STUD IN USA.

Update - Joes boy

Our home bred boy TOTALLYCOASTAL JOLLY ROGER (AKA JOE) moved to France in May 2012.  His first litter had 2 superb kittens (1 male and 1 female).  The male kitten has become rather special, and I like to share some pictures of him (at 4.5 months) with you that are published on Facebook.  For more photos check out Geraldine Pardo picture album.

Historic Reference Photo - Handales Vantage Point (aka Van)

While this boy came with a Handales Prefix, this was a formality only (based on T&Cs in the contract) when purchasing the Queen from them. They too had the exact same caveat in their contract, hence this  Queen supplied to me from them carried the AnsonRoad Prefix and not their own.  This pairing was the sole decision of Totallycoastal Cats UK program by Kelly McGlasson.

Van the Colorado Man.
We have had some nice pictures and regular updates from Karina at Kattegat cattery in Colorado USA.  Our home bred male moved there in May 2012 to start a breeding program.  He has produced some outstanding kittens already.  Of which, one is doing very well in the show-halls stateside, and is being incorperated into another USA breed program, but more about that in a seperate post.

Here are a couple of my favourite photos of the main man himself.

Owners Update - Facebook For Joe!

Our stud muffin Joe, went to embark on wooing some ladies in Toulouse, France.  First he won over Gege, and his next assignment, Baby!  It wasn't very long before he had acheived his mission, and before long he was mixing with the locals.

Geraldine has given me the thumbs up to post Joes Facebook album here.  So now there is a good selection of pictures available, I have selected my favourites.  If you would like to see more of these, then I'm sure you can track the facebook album down quite simply, by looking for Totallycoastal Jolly Roger via Geraldine Pardo.

Now you may be wondering who Baby is, well she is an absolutely amazing Pixiebob from USA and is currently ranking very highly (an understatement) in the show results...  We are expecting a fantastic litter from this pairing in the future.  Myself, Gege, and the breeder of Baby all very excited and can't wait.

In the meantime, before Joe left for foreign shores he left us a little bit of him here at Totallycoastal.  Of course this was the lovely litter from Alessi, which we recently posted photos.

Update - Van's Colorado Exploits!

We received a lovely email update from Karina in Colarado USA today.  Even betterit hadsome super pictures attached, which I thought I'd share.

......Anyway, Mr. Van is doing great and really seems to enjoy his time outside in the sun. I've attached a couple photos of him in his outdoor enclosure. You can kind of see my daughter (who's 5) is coming to the pen and Van is running up to the gate to meet her. He is such a sweetie and we just love him.

I do believe the breeding with Ella took as she is starting to fill out a bit and looks great. I can't wait to see what the kittens look like, fingers crossed for a big litter this time. Anyway, off to work for now. Van is awesome and we couldn't be happier with him. Thanks so much for allowing us the chance to have him as part of our breeding program.

Update - Viva La France!

Another exciting update for you all. Totallycoastal Jolly Roger, is taking to the high seas and moving to the continent.

Joe will be taking on main stud duties, to a gorgeous ex-pat USA model girlfriend there.... Lucky him. Two strangers in a foreign land, making beautiful pixiebob babies ;oP eat your heart out Mills & Boon.

Anyway, we hope these babies will follow in their mums footsteps and their daddies looks, and embark on some showing careers.

We also hope that having Totallycoastal Joe as their sire they will be huge loveable beauties, that will "do us proud" (meaning myself and of course Joes new mummy).

Update - A New Vantage Point

The time has come to make an announcement which is now official. Our homebred boy Handale Vantage Point is going back to his roots.

Yep, Van The Man will be embarking on a stud career in USA!!

I am very proud that our boy will be the sire of USA pixiebob litters and hopefully some gorgeous show-able babies.

Van is a chunky monkey who loves fuss, toys and food... I'm sure he'll soon settle into a routine stateside and we hope later in the year to see the patter of tiny feet.

Once again our boys landed himself a superb blonde model for partner. Van being tall dark and handsome of course was bound to attract such a lady :oP.

Update - Lily Was Here

Our Lily (Totallycoastal Lil Souvenir) was the only cat of Morgana x Ed line we had.  We were desperate to keep her in our program, but realistically we needed to reduce numbers.  We have arranged for Lily to goto a breeding program with a pick of litter kitten in return, so we can keep the line but have some breathing space.

I think this works really well for us and benefits another pixiebob breeder, and in turn is good for the breed.  It also means we've now a great working relationship with another Pixiebob breed here in the UK which is again good for the breed.

So while we are sad to she Lily leave here and we didnt breed her as originally intended.  We will be able to continue with one of her babies in the years to come.  We hope her babies are as nice as our Lily is.  Heres a picture of her at 20 weeks already showing good type.

We wish Sharon all the best with Our Lil Souvenir from Margate.

Previous Adults - Totallycoastal Lil Souvenir

Totallycoastal Lil Souvenir

AKA Lily
Status: PLACED
Sex: Female
Born: July 2010
Temperament: Lively, Sweet and Bold
Size: Good
Tail: Bobtail
Quality: Breeder
Coat: Good Pattern & Texture
Coat Length: PB - Shorthair
Foot: Straight

A cat we want to breed ourselves in our program, but we simply don't have the space!  Urgently looking for a breeding placement for this girl on (on an official lease basis) and then transfer ownership upon a kitten back. This still give us the line and some breathing space, plus a mate for Lily!

She is everything you could hope for in a girl and one of our absolute favourite.  However we can not schedule breeding her until 2012 and she is already cycling regularly.  We have decided it would be better to if she was bred now.
A lovely bobtail and good all round conformation, this girl an ideal female for a program, we wanted her for our own ;oP.  If you are interested in a queen then please feel free to contact us about this girl.

Edit: Lily moved to LEGENDFALLS.

Update - Broadside settles in!

It was so nice to receive a picture of Broadside settling in at Wildkitty, and another of his huge run.  He is already been exploring his own personal enclosure and as you can see its has lots of space and things for him to do!  He has been a big hit with the family already, but we knew he would because of that wonderful temprement and adorable personality.   I hope that now he'll have some lady action, he will also get a bit bulkier again...  He was always so into his food and was a bulky boy until girls became the most important thing, and this move to become a stud couldnt have come quick enough...  He spent a lot of his time stressing these past few weeks... So now Broadside you've got what you wanted.. girls!  So get back to enjoyig your food.... I can't wait to see him flourish, and all his future generations also. Tornado, I hope you (and your girlfriends) will make this boy very happy!
