Photo Update of HMS Martin

I know I keep saying this about all my babies...this boy is just super. I think he is the most wild looking bobcat face baby we've had to date. I am just head over heels smitten with him.  HMS Martin, we love you!
This boy has a very short bobtail, it may/may not reach legal show length.. we sure hope it does!
Big as a bear cub, heavy as a lead weight, rugged as a Wild cat...
He coat is already perfectly textures and has nice loft to it.. This doesn't normally come through until they are a bit older.  He is the quiet reserved one, but not in any shape or form timid.  He'll happily sit around all day and be fussed.
So chubby since the day he was born...we knew he'd remain a big built boy.  HMS Martin is under evaluation for a breeding program.
He will have a bit of a game but nothing extrovert!

Can you decide a favourite between Annie O, Mayflower, Martin and Alyssum.  Has Broadside , Shanty and Big Mac from Our spring litter still captured your heart. I have 101 more pictures of all of these kittens, I can't post them all, but you've got a good idea of the kittens we have here at the moment, and how exciting it all is for us.

Photo Update of HMS Mayflower

This girl is one word...CUTE!  You can't help but laugh at her antics. She doesn't do anything naughty...but she is the first to muck in and do something daring. While Alyssum was the first to explore and roam around... Mayflower was the first to jump off something high... Scale up something tall.. and shows no fear whatsoever! She'll happily go up to Broadside and bat his leg with her paw for some attention and play time.  HMS Mayflower thinks she is Invinsible, so maybe I made a mistake with the naming here.... LOL.

The other kittens looked over the edge once and thought thats it I'm staying put.  Mayflower contemplated jumping off several times... Here she is sizing up how high the drop is.
Both sides of Mayflowers coat here...and showing off her perfect bobtail!
All the spots will spreadt as Mayflower Grows and I think her coat pattern will be extremely similar to Our Queen and Champion Shenona.. but with a shorthair coat. Now back to show you photos of Mayflower off exploring.

Lets have a look up here...
In here looks interesting...
Does it Taste alright??
Does it Smell Alright??

Hey whats this instead...
Clever, Funny and Bobcatty boxes are all checked for HMS Mayflower.

Photo Updates of HMS Alyssum

As well as Dakota having Annie O, we had 3 beautiful pixiebob kittens born to Nebraska. These were names the HMS 3, HMS Martin, HMS Alyssum and finally HMS Mayflower. Here's the latest pictures of Alyssum..definately Her Most Spottiest!  Alsyssum has a fabulous hooded eye, perfect ear set, strong muzzle and pear shaped head. Very similar to her brother Martin in her face. She will have a rugged wild bob-catty face when she matures, and good size. We think our longtail kittens look equally wild.. like lion cubs. The name has stuck and so they are affectionately knowns as "Our Cubbies".

Are you looking at me?
Alyssum is a Shorthair pixiebob with superb coat type and pattern. All these bars ARE broken so as Alyssum matures the spots will be very nice. Fantastic Chuncky build to this girl. She is a straight foot but her legs and paws are very substantial and remind me of Big Mac Supersize Me.  She has a full tail, so could not be shown at championship level not matter how good she is, unless we transferred her to Pets section.  We are evaluating Alyssum, to see if she will be Breeder Grade to an existing experienced program.  We think that Ed and Nebraska lines combined will be a winning combination.
In shorthairs ear tufts can take a little while to develop, some have them from day 1, others aquire them with time, and some never have them.  We can say that, this girls Ear Tufts are just sprouting.

With this coat and face, she'll be absolutely stunning.  The spots with be perfectly muted but still visable, so will also make a very exceptional pet also. Please contact us if you like the look of Alyssum.

HMS Martin in his first Photo shoot!!

Now this Boy loved the camera, so we got loads of photos of him... Maybe he knows how good looking he is!  I think HMS Martin will be a real lady magnet (to human and feline).  A very cute short bobtail and fur so plush and fluffy, to top it all he is very well built in frame. We love big kittens, Martin is such a podge, and guzzles mums milk like a V6 engine gets through gasoline!!  Anyway enjoy these debut snaps.

He's just shy of 3 weeks and look at the size of these legs and those huge straightfooted paws!  He has a lovely domed head, and great nose break. Scrunched up a bit here so you can't see those amazing spots... but they're to come in later pictures so you wont miss them. His ticking is already coming through on those guard hairs so we think he'll have an amazing coat like his daddy does. Could he be better than Ed?? We'll have to wait to find out!!!

This shows just how much this boy puts away when he's eating. Hey Martin, we can see your fat belly LOL. But this picture was intended to be a flattering one... Showing us those fantastic Spots and that cutesy bobtail... Dont you just love it!!!
Alright you dont have to get upset about the last comment Martin, its was a complement. We like chubby Chunky kittens, we want primordial pouches, and we want moody heavy brows... Damn, youve got that too!

Big wide head with an equal wide muzzle, a good substantial inverted pear. The Nose shows no sign of tampering which is perfect. We're loving the bobcatty whisker spots and that perfect nose colour too!

Will this boy equal or better Broadside or Big Mac for Totallycoastal Future Stud Spot?  We will not be able to keep all these fantastic boys, so this means that 1 of the 3 will be available for purchase.... Which One? We may have to draw straws, as they are all equally good, so watch this Space!

HMS Alyssum in her first photo shoot!

Alyssum wasnt that keen to be in front of a camera by herself... a retiring violet!  So we have only got a few photo's, but I hope as she gets a little older she'll not be so shy.. She has such a gorgeously sweet face, already showing good conformation overall despite the full tail...just look at her.

The Nautical 3 are almost 3 weeks old now!

The kittens are now old enough to start having their individual portraits posted.  So you can keep a track on your own personal favourite (HMS Martin, HMS Alyssum or HMS Mayflower).

Christening of the next nautical 3.. I am not mad honest!

We once again diversed from the Nautical theme with Annie O, for good reason.

But now back to the usual trend, and without further ado, I name these babies.... HMS Martin, HMS Mayflower and HMS Alyssum. I dont anticipate cracking a bottle of champers on their heads, or following with the statement with "may God bless them and all who sail....".

You're thinking I'm crazy to name them after warships!!  True, I would be if that were the case, except HMS stands for His/Her Majesty Spotty.... as they are exactly that. This litter is extremely well marked, all lovely spotty kittens.  So welcome to His Majesty Spotty Martin, Her Majesty Spotty Mayflower and finally Her Majesty Spotty Alyssum.

3 Beautiful Nebraska x Ed Bobbies

Nebraska had 3 beautiful kittens on Monday morning.  2 bobtails (1 short like mum, and 1 exactly like dad) and 1 longtail all flawless. All of these babies are exceptionally chunky, but this seems to be a common trait passed on from Ed/Ollies line and was to be expected.
I know you'll be eager to see pictures of the trio, which I will post as soon as I have an opportunity to capture them on a photo!
I am not totally sure on the sex of these kittens yet, but first glance appear to be 1 boy and 2 girls.  I am holding off naming until they are in their second week and to sex more confidentally.
