Update - Naming Day for Sandy Trio!

Ok, so Sandy's 3 kittens have now opened their eyes... I always wait for eyes to open (as this instantly changes their appearance) before choosing names.

Kitten 1, the chubby longtail, straightfooted girl, is now named Totallycoastal Harbour Lights (aka Lottie).  Kitten 2, the Rumpie Girl also straightfooted, and is now the biggest in the litter is named Totallycoastal Tidal Wave (aka Tilda).  Finally the leggiest, Longtail Quad Poly Girl Totallycoastal Long Stay (aka Stacey).  I will be posting pictures of these three gorgeous girls again over the weekend, so you can put a name to the face! 

This will also give you an opportunity again to think who these girls most look like... Quinn? Ollie? Ed? Van? or Big Mac? and take part in our WHO'S THE DADDY competition for fun only.  There is no obligation to purchase from us!

As promised some pictures of the litter.  Will have to attempt face shots when they are 1 week.. mum doesnt mind quick handling.. but not long enough to get proper facial shots at the moment.

Announcement - 3 Sandy babies

Sandy had 3 kittens last night (1 rumpy and 2 longtails). She is being an attentive mum which is very good. I've not been able to check feet or sexes as yet, as she growls if I try to touch her babies. Never heard Sandy growl in her life! She is the most docile and placid cat ever. So this shows me she's is extremely protective over her litter... I'll work closely with her, and gain her trust with them.  I like to handle all babies from very small so they do not grow up timid.

I managed to coax mum just out of shot with some of her favourite food to get this clip and pictures. I'll also post some more pictures at the weekend. But here's the first installment of the new arrivals, less than 1 day old.

Future Queens - Lily and Sandy...Chalk and Cheese

Lily and Sandy are from 2 completely different Dams, but both share the same daddy. Half sisters that are poles apart from each other in personality and colouration.. but one thing in common is they share great characteristics, and they always seek each others company. 

Sandy is the most loving and gentle girl and the lap cat and loves people, while Lily is the active tear about that likes a cuddle but would prefer to play instead and like cats company better.

Sandy is a Quad Poly foot the stoater chunkier darker toned girl, and Lily a Straight footed leggy blonde.  I love them both equally, for different reasons and both are staying here at Totallycoastal as breeding queens.  I can't choose between these 2... but which do you prefer?

How wild does Barbie look here!! I can't believe the transformation that happened this week. This girl now looks very Wild indeed! She has a really good nose break and look at those spots. I think she'll be a superb example of the breed...such a shame she has a long tail which would prevent her from being shown.  While, Sandy still has the cute kitten with rounder eyes look about her....awwww, but look at those chunky legs and massive poly feet!

Now this girl is staying here... what a bear like head and gorgeous face. Those eyes are soulful and thats absolutely perfect Pixiebob type. Some are born with it, some grow into it and Sandy was definately born with this look. She also has 4 massive pattie poly paws... so this girl is simply a must have. Sand Betweenthe Paws I think will be Our show girl of the year at Totallycoastal. We are very very keen to get her in the ring at the first opportunity when she is old enough. Absolutely mazzively built too, bigger than all her brothers and sisters.. She doesnt stop eatting so thats no real surprise really!!

Everything about this girl is right.

A nice round forehead on this girl, reminds me so much of Ed when he was a baby from her profile.

Look at that heavy brow already at a young age and a female kitten.

Take a while for her coat to mature as she's a broken Mackeral

so I'll post some more side body shots as she gets older.

Sand Betweenthe Paws AKA Sandy will be staying at totally coastal as a future queen. She will be paired to Quinn when she is old enough and has had some time to be a show kitten and the centre of attention. I am sure she'll enjoy all of this ;oD.
