Update - Swanley Show Shoot 3rd - 4th March.

Our Linsey managed to get a few AB finals (a 10, 9 and 6) in 9 rings she was entered into over the Saturday and Sunday 3rd-4th March TICA Show.  I had to pull her after lunch on day 2 due to an upset tummy so we missed the last 3 rings of the second day.  Whether that was eating rich food; the excitement of the show, who knows. 

Linsey was completely relaxed with the show, the hall, the people and all the other cats.. so our extra special efforts of taking her out on trips to public places paid off lots.  We were very proud of our girl, and the feedback we got from the judges.. we will of course be incorperating this girls stunning looks in our program.

We also tried out our new banner.  Which worked really well with the public and was light and easy to pack and put up, so this will be coming with us around future shows.  Linsey also won a few hearts and she climbed out her cage for a few photo sessions with the general public.   We are looking forward to receiving some of these photo shoots, and will of course post them as soon as they hit our mailbox.

Update - Photo-tasic Linsey now 3.5m

Linsey is a little madam, but totally gorgeous (and she knows it).  I really hope to show this girl, she's bold, bright, playful and afraid of no-one.  I have to say she speaks her mind often and you certainly can't make her do anything she doesn't want to. 

Fingers crossed that Totallycoastal HookLineNSinker (aka Linsey) can get into the show ring, and we have more luck with a girl than a boy.  Our first opportunity is the March Show in Swanley, Kent.  

We sure hope that all the people Linsey is meeting and being handled by pays off, and she is still comfortable and responsive in another 4 months from now.  Anyway, we know she is Show quality... and here's some pictures to back it up this claim. 

Linsey has taken over from her mum Nebraska as a future queen at Totallycoastal.  We are toying with a suitable stud boy for her.  At the moment we are thinking our Future Stud Declan might be a good choice.

Update - Linseys Latest!

This girl Totallycoastal HookLineNSinker has developed a beauty spot, and quite rightly so.  Not sure where the beauty spot originates from though, but it's certainly adds a uniqueness to her wonderful face.  Of course I'm going to think she's adorable and gorgeous, but it's nice to hear that she is from others too! 

I am pleased that Linsey, has so far received a good reception from everyone.  Just short of 9 weeks old, and I already see so much of mum and dad in her, and I think those traits combined will surpass mum and dad and this treasured girl will have raised the bar a little higher here ;oD!

Linsey adorns a shaggy thick stand out coat, identical to her half brother Joe.  She'll still be a shorthair Pixiebob, but with a very plush and sumputious texture. 

This girl is staying here of course to take over from her mother.  We also hope to first embark on a show career as soon as she is old enough, through all of 2012.  Then we'll have a career change as a Queen in 2013.

Nebraska's girl Linsey is coming on leaps and bounds.  I think she's absolutely stunning and will be staying here if she keeps this face.

 

Update - First update of Nebraskas Girls

Nebraskas had 2 girls named Linsey and Andrea (at just 1 day old).  I think they both have strong faces for girls. Hopefully Ed and Nebraska decided for a Grand Finale litter, now Nebraska will be retiring.

Linsey (Totallycoastal HookLineNSinker) &Andrea (Totallycoastal HighNDry) is the decided ped name. Both girls are quite different from each other, in markings and size. Linsey is dumpy and fat and light toned, Andrea long and leggy and very dark. One thing they share though is muzzles they are "in ya face" prominent big muzzles. We are very keen to see how this really dark tones develop over the coming weeks. I personally think dark tones give an extra wildness to a pixiebob face, wondering if Andrea will captivate us with it. Both kittens snuggle with mum for a while. I have to say she reminds me a lot of Totallycoastal Jolly Roger. Next instalment will be with quality of pictures, so you can see these girls in all their glory.
