The "Catalon" cattery prefix is associated with the American Bobtail Shorthair breed, was owned by Judith E Deering, and was registered in Oregon, USA. The name was used to register American Bobtail Shorthairs in the International Cat Association (TICA) registry primarily, but they also ran a pixiebob program under the same prefix for a short time. This clipping was early years breed advertising. The advert was published in a popular magazine amongst pixiebob breeders and enthusiasts.
