Historic Document - Pixie-Bob accepted in CCA (Canadian Cat Association)

In 1998, Tracey Semchison of Natureworks Cattery in Ontario brought the breed to Canada. FogForest Pixie-Bobs was founded in 1998 as the second Canadian breeder working with the original Pacific Northwest lines and Blue List cats. Largely through the work of Tracey, the Pixie-Bob was accepted as a New Breed and Colour by CCA in 1999. However, because there are just a handful of breeders of Pixie-Bobs in Canada, it has been very difficult for the CCA judges to determine whether they were familiar enough with the breed to judge this cat in Championship.
