Joe based in USA kept Jungle Cats, Pixiebobs and other breeds he used his Pixiebobs to create hybridised new breeds such as Highland Lynx, Desert Lynx etc. This breeder as Timberlands provided Fiji & Mama Jungle cats to the likes of SierraSancturary and Rebelmountain to use experimentally and in isolation in the early years of pixiebob development. Some offspring or second generation however did end up in pixiebob programs by the 2000s, and some 20 years later are distantly in many programs around the globe.
The likes of Mama & Fiji appear in pedigree, so whether this was accepted or rejected in its day.. they are still part of the Pixiebobs story and included for completeness.
I have no further information on this USA based breeder, due to this experimenting with hybridisation of breeds wasn’t favourable, and so history is scant.
