Black Creek Bobis was a USA based cattery, owned by Clarice and Fred Damron. Appears to have ceased breeding some time between 2005-2010.
“Blackcreekbobis had some diverse lines and a huge program. She started out in Mississippi; her first inquiry into the breed started with a phone call to Carol Brewer as she saw the breed advertised in magazines and wanted to breed Pixiebobs. She ended up instead working with Maranda Hull, but also bought many cats from PixiePaw, PkPixies, WaterfordGs, NWheritage, Babybobs, to name but a few.In 2005's hurricane Katrina wreaked HAVOC on her home in Mississippi, causing floods, surges and wiping out half of her program. Because flooding destroyed her house and cattery and drowned half of her program. What she could salvage was salvaged, and other breeders helped step up to house her cats until she completely relocated to Oklahoma near her mentor, and then best friend Maranda Hull running a breeding collaboration.”
Thanks to Richard Koons for this insight and explanation as to why the program shrank in 2005.
