Future Queen - Side Profile Celia stays!

Celia has always been the most difficult to photo... she just likes to curl up with other kittens and usually behind them out of shot.  Not one for the limelight, but she does make herself at home on your lap and quite happily sit there all day being stroked.  Playing isnt really her thing, she will eventually join in but it takes a lot to stoke her fire.

Celia is also staying here with us, I already have Sandy from this pairing... so I shouldnt really keep another kitten. But she is a contrast to Sandy and has the greatest side profile I've had to date in a young kitten, that I simply couldn't let that go. I was considering keeping Barbie instead, but she is quite similar to Sandy in her colour and type. Celia I believe will be more from her Daddy, Ed but from certain angles I see her mum in her too!

I plan to pair her to Our Quad poly blonde boy Quin when she is old enough, which obviously wont be for a while yet. Here's just a little taster of how she's developed so far...and maybe you can imagine what Quintus and Celia babies will be like.

Very prominent forehead on this girl.

Short blunt wide muzzle.

Already heavy brow forming on this little girl.

Here Celia reminds me of her Mum Alessi... even though shes just turned 5 months.

Update - Our Celia!

Now this is really funny... Celia (Seashell Collection) really reminds me of Shenona when she was small. Again Shenona is related to Alessi too, they are cousins!  This trade mark look leads back to Shenonas Sire and Alessis Dam lines...they always end up looking very bobcat/lynx like. I also see a little bit of Ed in there aswell when he was a small kitten.

Celia has shorter and thicker legs.

This picture above reminds me of Ed so much when he was 8 weeks old, even her eyes are the same.

You'd think she was roaring away ;oD, but Celia was calling for attention...

she loves her strokes and fuss the mot out of all the kittens in this litter.

Update - Van, Celia and Barbie

These 3 always hang-out together, so it is easier to take photos of them together. Here's the latest of Celia, Van and Barbie.

Celia (Left), Barbie (Centre), Van (Right)

Barbie and the Sweet, Sweet Celia here facing the camera.

Full tailed Barbie showing us her spots!

Passed the Hock Tail Celia is just a perfect package. A really lovely natured girl, with good all round looks!

Van winning Our Hearts here, with his playful loving behaviour.

A little glimpse of Celias coat which is breaking up really nicely now.

Celia following Vans example. Her eyes are really taking on the perfect shape, and really good size paws and chunky legs but retaining a good long leg too.  We think Celia shows great promise for a Breeding program.

Celia (left), Van (Background) and Barbie (Foreground) who is looking for a way down.

Barbie still looking for a way out of the Photoshot, Celia now contemplating it too!

Barbie getting ready to bail out!

....And then there was 2, Van (Foreground) and Celia (in the background).

Alessi's Girl - Celia (Seashell Collection)

Now this Girl is as Sweet as sugar, and so chubby you'd think she'd been eating lots of it. She has a 3/4 length tail.

There's something that striking about this girl Celia, she's the smallest of the 4 girls in the litter but by far the fattest...Still a really good chunky boning, nothing petite about her. I love the expression on her face, I love the contrast from her base colour and the really black spots.

To sum Celia up, very observant, studies everything around her, Quite and Loving.
