We get lovely pictures, texts, emails all the time. We also get Christmas and Birthday Cards too. It’s really lovely to stay in touch and be a part of our kittens lives beyond leaving our cattery.

Photo Update - Son of Totallycoastal Jolly Roger
![]() |
Jolly Roger's Son |
We sent our homebred boy Totallycoastal Jolly Roger (aka Joe) to Gege in France in 2012, and he has been a great success in her Pixiebob Program.
This wonderful picture, and great example of the breed, was a mating to Baby (Foresthunters Northern Dancer) and our boy Joe (in the background), it appears this mating was a match made in heaven, simply sublime.

Owners Updates - Totallycoastal Treasure Hunt
We received this owners update a while back, but haven't had a chance to load these pictures up. As you can see Hunter settled in with the locals rather well. In fact this was within a week of his arrival..and he was tucking into their dinner :oD. We do not raise our Pixiebob kittens with dogs or children.... but as you can see they soon take to them, and become best buddies.

Owners Update - HMS Alyssum (now Tabitha)
"I thought you might like an update on how Tabitha is. She's in very good health. Very agile, fit and strong. The laser mouse is by far her favourite game. Followed by knocking things of the shelf. She went through a phrase of steeling my memory sticks. I had to buy small tub with locking lid.She goes on to say....
We keep her food upstairs on the middle landing to stop the dogs from steeling it. She has a big appetite for a small cat. The moment you go anywhere near the stairs, SHE THERE from nowhere, chirping away.
She targets Dave the most. She has him wrapped around her little paw. We do let her outside. She has a lot of energy to burn off."
"And if you do something, not to her liking (moving my pillow when she's made herself comfortable on it). She's got a mean right hook.....
The attachment: I don't think I sent you this picture. It's still my favourite. I had it printed onto a large canvas and has pride of place in our living room I also use it as my PC wallpaper.
Wishing you well
Linda"

Owners Update - Neptune Rules!
Neptune only moved to his home in June, but already we have received some super pictures of him...
He has taken the whole family into his heart already, and these photos were only taken after 5 days of arriving. Showing us all just how easily Pixiebobs can intergrate from the offset. I know for sure the updates I get... that Neptune has captured every ones heart for keeps. So not only is this gorgeous chap the God Of the Seas, it appears he is also triumphant in other areas.
We'd like to thank Keith, Michelle, Sammie and Chris for loving our boy, and for the very regular updates... and finally, specifically to Sammie for taking and sending these pictures.
Owners Update - Sunset Snoozing
It was really nice to hear from Beth and Neil, with an update of Scarlet, formerly (Totallycoastal Summer) Sunset. As you can see she has developed into another fine example of the breed. But what's more important, is how she is projecting total bliss and contentment.
We simply love to receive pictures of our placed kitties, and their stories of antics and exploits, so we always know how they are getting on. Summer Sunset was from 2010 summer litter, from Morgana x Ed....and I can definately see her daddy in her face and this pose :oP.
Thank-You for this photo Beth.

Update - Van's Colorado Exploits!
We received a lovely email update from Karina in Colarado USA today. Even betterit hadsome super pictures attached, which I thought I'd share.
......Anyway, Mr. Van is doing great and really seems to enjoy his time outside in the sun. I've attached a couple photos of him in his outdoor enclosure. You can kind of see my daughter (who's 5) is coming to the pen and Van is running up to the gate to meet her. He is such a sweetie and we just love him.
I do believe the breeding with Ella took as she is starting to fill out a bit and looks great. I can't wait to see what the kittens look like, fingers crossed for a big litter this time. Anyway, off to work for now. Van is awesome and we couldn't be happier with him. Thanks so much for allowing us the chance to have him as part of our breeding program.

Owners Update - Pixies Intelligence Test
Last year we placed Totallycoastal Summer Holiday with a very good friend and was renamed Pixie. I always joke with my friend over her cats names as they are so unoriginal. She has 2 others named Mog and Piscin. Piscin sounds a bit original, until you learn it means kitten in Irish (which is where Piscin was found), and my friend originates from.
Anyway, she was very small but perfectly in proportion, no-one could get to the bottom of why she was so tiny... but it earnt her the name Mini Bob while she was at Totallycoastal. I wanted her to be placed with Friends/Family in case it turned out to be a special dietry requirement that she'd need. She always had a super face, and I think you can see from the picture how stunning it is. We were upset when she left us, because she was unique in EVERY way. Mini-bob had a huge personality and was extremely clever...
However, I didn't realise the depths of her cleverness.... she has now taken up as a Business Analyst and Programmer! I'd have never believed it either... but here she is sitting next to her latest Query400 interrogating the database to solve a problem. She clearly has resolved it because she's sitting there looking very smug.
So there you have it, Pixiebobs are extremely intelligent and trainable.... I better watch myself, she might want my job next!
Here's one I completed earlier. |

Owners Update - Nurse Pixie
Seems mini bob Pixie (formerly Totallycoastal Summer Holiday) is taking her levels of devotion to new heights.
Our Pixie, was looking after Evan because he was running a temperature and feeling poorly. Maureen tells me that she alway guards him when he is sleeping at night and lays on his bed with her paws resting over him, ensuring his safe. However, it was very cute to see her stay by his side constantly apart from comfort breaks, when he was unwell.
Obviously exhausting work it appears, as she seems to be having a catnap in this picture.
We always love to receive pictures from our placed cats and their owners, and even more of a delight to get cute ones!
Evan and Pixie score 10 out of 10 on that scale for us... And I think you'll agree this is a great picture!

Owners Update - Scarlet Surprize
It was a nice surprize to see an email from Beth about our (Scarlet) Sunset. Even nicer one to see a few wonderful photos of her chillin' out... And doing her over stretches still... Same ol' Sunset. When she was tiny she'd stretch out and double up as a door draft excluder... Here I'm convinced she's doing it to lay claim on her half of the bed! Enjoy.
