Update - Morgana, Big as the Boys

Morgana is now 2 years old and just keeps growing. A very chunky large girl, that is developing more and more wildness as she matures.  A great head shape both front and side on. She has great type also in her build and her coat pattern. But a break from the norm in colour, as she is a dilute Blue Cream Pixiebob. Morgana has had 1 litter for us, giving us the really rufus TA and the gorgeous blonde Lily to carry on her type. Sunset, Summer and Margot have been placed in pet homes and are settling in lovely.  Morgana has been spayed and looking for a retirement home for her to be pampered in.

Her ticking is extremely prominent in her coat, and the texture is very thick and plush with a lot of loft to it...Now her winter coat is coming through it almost feels like sheeps wool in texture.  She reminds me so much of a Canadian Lynx with her markings, and that wild face. Morgana has always been very different to any of the other blue pixiebobs I've ever seen.  I have never come across any quite like her.  The pictures do not show her spotty coat at all unfortunately, so I have attached 1 kitten picture of Morgana which shows her pattern.

Placed Adult - Morgana the Legend

Morgana has had the most super kittens and we are keeping 2 of these (a boy and girl) in Our program. Morgana now deserves to enjoy retirement in a life of luxury, receiving a bit more personal attention than she can have now.

She is a very stunning girl firstly, and turns head everywhere she goes. But her best quality has to be her personality, she loves other cats as well as people , and I can guarantee that she will soon latch on to any family before you could blink, and become part of the furniture.

Ideally she would suit a home with 1 or 2 other cat (Male or Female makes no difference). She really would make an Ideal companion cat for a Stud boy even.... as she likes to be in 1 or 2 cats company all the time and favours boys more than girls!
Alternatively, somewhere that has someone around all day for her to interact with and bond with as a soul mate in replacement of a cat ;oP.

This girl was Born November 2008, so she is still a spring chicken. She has already been spayed, so there are no additional costs for you. She still has her kittens taking milk from her, but they are now eating  regular meals so we are able to place Morgana by the End of August. She has fantastic bobtail and heavy ticking to her coat. She is a large girl and heavy build.. her face type is just excellent with that real strong pixiebob brow and a very wide muzzle and very deep chin. her head is also very rounded which is a must. She has wild wild lookng amber eyes which against the grey they look likes burning fires!

Obviously the most striking thing about his girl is she is a blue cream variant, which is rare and is unfortunately a non showable colour, otherwise this girl would have embarked on a show career with us here after she had finished nursing her babies. We have personally found that people find the grey has far more of a WOW Factor than the browns... and say she looks like a Canadian Lynx. I think its the face and her lynx tips that help that along, she has some gorgeous peach and creamy colours to the face and legs that is just adds even more contrasts and more of a twist to an alreadyexotic look.  One top of her outward appearance you'll have a cat like no other... unless of course you already own pixiebobs.  Even to the existing Pixiebob owner, Morgana has a little extra magic about her... which is why she is called Morgana the Legend.  She is by far the quiest cat you'll ever have...Pixiebobs are known to be quiet but Morgana takes this to another level, you'll hear she has a wide selection of mellow chirps and purrs which is characteristic for the breed, but Morgana excels in this and meow doesn't exist in her vocabulary.

Because Morgana is so friendly, eye catching and sounds so different, we would advise that she is homed where she can have an indoor access only, or a home that can provide an additonal outdoor space without free roaming access. Ie. Cat Nets/Fencing or a purpose built run... so that she is not stolen.

We are selling Morgana to the right home at a discounted price, so she can start her new life as quick as possible.  We will be very sad to see Morgana leave us and so will Ollie and Gemima who are her friends, but so deserve to have a permenant place to call home forever.

Announcement - Morgana babies arrived!

Morgana had 5 kittens early hours of this morning, and both Mum and Babies doing well. We have 2 longtails and 3 bobtails in the litter. All extremely spotty with good contrast in colour, 3 very rufus and 2 delightful light blondes. I'll post pictures as so as I get a chance. Hopefully you wont have to wait too long.

Blue Bobbies and Blue Bobcats

There are 13 different varities (sub-species) of Bobcat, the Lynx Rufus. Some vary in size, while others vary in colour. Most are shades of Red thru Brown. However this is not the only colours of coat that exist. We have the rarities of Black and White coats that nature sometimes produces, but along with that comes the Blue Bobcat. Unlike the White and Black which are anomolies, the blue bobcat is a regular occurance that frequents the Montana Region, and it is therefore considered a sub-species. At first glance it could be mistaken for a Canadian Lynx, but the 2 have differences that while subtle are noticable with the naked eye.
The Pixiebob standards define that they should resemble the Bobcat. Everyone strives to get the Rufus (Ruddy) colour in the coat of their cats to some degree. I too am very fortunate to have an extremely brick red girl and 2 boys with very strong Red Base coats.
The current breed standards will not permit Blue Pixiebobs to compete at championship status. However, they can compete in New Breed Trait and within the Household Pets classes if they are Spayed/Neutered.
