This girl is our short tailed female of the litter. Pearl's face is divine. I am not sure what else I can say about it. For me it ticks almost all the boxes. The frustrating thing is her eyes are still closed. I guess that is par for the course. She was the last born, last to lose her umbilical cord and so last with the eyes as well. We are hoping to keep Pearl in our breeding program if the eyes are correct. I don't think I've been this impatient over eyes opening ever before :oP. Anyway, her photos this week are pretty similar to last, but I've added them here for the full compliment of Shellets photos.
Pearl is very quiet, calm and collective. The only real time she makes any noise at all is when I take her away from mum, or she is trying to feed and being barged out of the way by Callie. She holds her own and gives as good as she gets, but if there's just too many tussling.. she sits back and waits until the maddened crowd has fallen to sleep then she has the feeding station all to herself and mum's attention too.. as usually the others have been cleaned up and sleeping by then. Patience is indeed a virtue.
