Heavy on the boys in litters again this year.... When of course we wanted girls, so mums can retire.
At most we'll keep one of these boys back for ourselves. Another is under evaluation for a breed program, but that still leaving 4 available.
We have 3 adults males leaving us also before summer comes. Without that happening we'd have never even had an option going forward with a 2012 boy keeper. 2 of these boys as you are well aware are already spoken for and going to internationalbreeding programs, but 1 is still looking for a home as a pet, or to continue his career as a breeder also.
So if you want a big love bug pet pixiebob adult or kitten, male or female, nows the time to say!
Photos will be published periodically of all these kittens development.
Early enquiries are advisable, especially if you're wanting a boy.
Male kittens always get snapped up first. This is due to the belief they have stronger faces and bigger size, as they mature. As a rule this is true. Of course you can get equally wild looks in girls, that will give the boys a run for their money. You only have to check some of Alessi and Nebraskas pictures for faces. As for size, just look at Spud, a very leggy and huge female, she's bigger than some boys.
I have been working hard to combine these exceptional girls lines over time to produce strong faced females, that are big and chunky... so it really doesn't become a mans world. Where brothers and sisters in litters, will be level pegging in size and type.
I think the fruits of my labour are coming to pass, the show results of Linsey are testimony to that. The next steps beyond that for us is diversity of long and short hair.
