Update - Totallycoastal To The Rescue

We have somehow found our way (by chance) into taking in Rescue Pixiebobs.  Thankfully, I am pleased to say that this is NOT a common occurance.  It would be a sad day for the breed when it became commonplace.  However from time to time we do expect to get them.  Note, we always offer to take in any HOMEBRED cat or kitten unconditionally, should an owners situation change or they are unable to manage, these are considered Returns.  Rescue Pixiebobs are from any background, that need help and/or a new home.  Our space and funds are limited, so we unfortunately may have to turn away.. but we hope we can at least help some Pixiebobs.

For those Cats and Kittens that find their way to us, we treat them for any ailments they may have (that we can afford to cover) and build them up to a homeable state.  They may require some additional or ongoing treatments, or food supplements in their new homes.  They may require NO additional treatments at all, and just a lot of loving. Whatever their situation, all details will be given up front to allow an informed choice.

If we cannot afford to treat or we simply don't have space, then we unfortunately cannot take them in as it wouldn't be fair (and suggest taking them to a registered Charity re-homing centres where they have a good chance of complete treatment and eventually a home).

All Rescues are offered at 150.00.  This is an average figure of a Treatment for Parasites, and a 14 day Antibotic shot, plus Food for 1 month.  We may spend more on 1 individual and less on another, but it ulimately we hope evens out.  We offer these cats at low cost, also to encourage them getting a home first.

If you would be interested in offering a home to a Rescue Cat/Kitten please contact us and we will add you to our prospective placements.  It is always nice to have a list of very caring people, willing to offer a super home to a much deserved Pixie.

Once again, I'd like to ultimately hope that there are not any Pixiebobs out there that need such a service, but we couldn't turn our back if they did.
